Roasted Giffoni hazelnuts from Greece
Description: Giffoni hazelnuts are a sweet, rich, and creamy variety of hazelnuts originally developed in Italy and highly sought after in the confectionary industry. Our hazelnuts are grown by small-scale farmers in the mountainous areas around Mount Olympus in central Greece. The Giffoni hazelnuts are large, round, and sweet, with a skin that's easily removed. Their fatty, aromatic taste makes them ideal for desserts, ice creams, and as a snack.
Our hazelnuts are roasted in small batches on a bed of salt to enhance their intense, nutty flavor.
