Raw satarbai almonds from Afghanistan

Description: Satarbai almonds are a sweet almond variety that are native to Afghanistan and one of the highest-quality almonds found in the country. They're in high demand in South Asia and the Middle East, and rarely sold in Europe.

Satarbai almonds are mostly grown by small-scale farmers, who carefully harvest, clean, and sort the nuts completely manually. Due to their distinctive, long, paper-thin shell, the almonds are easily broken by machines and must be processed by hand. This is one reason why these almonds are so rare in Europe, because quantities are so limited.

Taste: The kernels are full of flavor, naturally sweet and creamy, not at all dry.
